March 4, 2010 - 3:44 pm - Wowza - the color on that first one is AMAZING, Daniela!! And those eyes, and that hat!! Just perfection!
I’ll be away from February 19 - 28th with no access to the internet. I’ll return all phone calls and emails on March 1st.
This is my friend Cathy. Those who know her, know what an incredible person she is. Cathy’s a wonderful nurse, mother, wife, friend. She’s such a positive, uplifting person to be around and beautiful…inside and out. Cathy was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. She describes the past year as a journey - a journey that has made her a stronger person. She just recently completed all of her chemo and wanted to document and celebrate this with a photo session (it was also a surprise Valentine’s gift for her husband).
When I look at Cathy’s photos I see strength, I see confidence, I see beauty.

Cathy - you are such an incredible, strong person…..love you!
February 25, 2010 - 3:03 pm - beautiful photo of a beautiful woman.
March 5, 2010 - 1:35 pm - How absolutely STUNNING and inspiring :D
This is the 3rd time these adorable sisters have travelled to my studio from Orillia….thank-you so much for making the trip down.
I love that I can take photos in my studio without them looking so “studio’ish”. It certainly makes it easier shooting during these long winter months.

My baby turns 12 today…I still can’t believe it!
If I had to describe Mackenzie in 10 words it would be:
cute | smart |witty |annoying |mature |argumentative | funny | passionate | intense |athletic

Happy Birthday Mackenzie! Love you so much and you know you’ll always be my baby.
February 10, 2010 - 1:49 pm - happy birthday to your handsome young man! {i feel old now, i've been following you for like forever :O)}
I can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching families grow over the years. I met Peter and his parents several years ago and photographed him as an adorable baby as well as photographing mom and dad’s wedding. Peter was back in the studio - this time with his new baby sister Jennifer. I just wanted to eat her up!
and Peter…you are to adorable.

This was Nicole’s final session in her baby plan. What do you do with an active 1 year old in the studio? Place them in a bucket!
I love watching my baby planners grow up. Big brother Nathan was also one of my baby planners and he’s now such a handsome little boy. Where does the time go?

I normally photograph newborns when they’re less than two weeks old. Why? They’re so sleepy at this point and love to curl up. A one month old can be a challenge to photograph. At this point, they are very aware of their surroundings and are constantly moving with flailing arms.
Once we took some awake shots and family shots, I was on a mission to get Abigail asleep. She gave me a bit of a hard time but I now consider myself the baby whisperer ! Abigail did fall asleep….and we captured these precious photos of her. Isn’t she gorgeous?

January 21, 2010 - 11:18 pm - these are fantastic, daniela! you definitely ARE the baby whisperer!! :) and abigail is oh-so-precious!
January 30, 2010 - 2:52 pm - she is adorable and you would never know by looking at these that she gave you a hard time....lol
