My new website is finally live! It’s really not that different from my last one - just different features and part of an overall master plan.

Alex’s Jazz number this year was my favourite dance EVER!!!!

It’s that time of year again - dance recital time! Even though this was Alex’s 11th dance recital - I get as excited as I did at her first! This year’s recital was special in so many ways. It was Miss Dar’s 20th Dance Recital and the theme was “History Repeating”. Many of the dances were from previous years. Alex’s dances from her first year were back in the recital! I had tears in my eyes watching these little ones as Munchkins from the Wizard of Oz and as little Minnie Mouses. As they danced, I couldn’t help but think of Alex on stage 11 years ago dancing to these songs. Thanks for making me cry Miss Dar!

And if that wasn’t enough to tug on my heart strings…It was also Alex’s first year on pointe and first year with a real tutu.
I’ve waited 11 years for a tutu…..11 years!!!
I know Alex doesn’t like this one because she’s not right on pointe..but I still like it:

Alex got her braces off! OMG…the girl is all teeth! She looks so different to me.
What my computer decided to do two days ago! I thought Macs weren’t supposed to crash…and it’s less than a year old! I am not impressed. Luckily, I have everything backed up, so I didn’t loose any files. I’ve been a lost puppy however, for two days - no computer, no internet, no email, no proofing. It does explain why my house is clean though!!!!
It’s going to be a late night for me getting all of my files and programs back on my computer.
So, for those of you reading this…..BACK UP YOUR FILES!!!!!!

I threatened my daughter after school today. I told her I have to take her photo or she dies (nice mother huh?). I wanted to try this new lens on a person before I use it on my sessions tomorrow.
These were just taken in our front yard. This lens is so dreamy - I can’t stand it!
I feel like a child with a new toy! I couldn’t wait to rip open the box and start playing! I had no subjects to photograph, so I ventured into our backyard and took some photos of our tulips.
I’m already so in love with this lense….so in love. I can’t wait to use it on a session!
