This was Julianne’s 3rd and final session with me as part of her baby plan. I first photographed her as a tiny newborn and now she’s this beautiful little girl with tons of energy. Julianne is at a stage where she likes sticking her tongue out, actually, she likes to just have it tangle out of her mouth. I was excited when I realized I had quite a few of her without her tongue out. Although she looks totally adorable with her tongue sticking out - I didn’t think mom would want 20 photos of her like this!

 Amy and Andrew are such a great couple - so easy going and so darn cute!

When I found out that Ava’s grandparents own an orchard…well I knew exactly where I wanted to take the photos. For all of my photographer friends out there - you’ll appreciate this…I didn’t have to trespass!

Ava was a dream - she smiled and kept her cute little hats on the entire time.

How adorable is she?!!

It was Alex’s 12th dance recital with Miss Dar’s School of Dance this past weekend. I can’t believe she’s been dancing for 12 years and she’s not even 15 yet!  Every year I look forward to recital time - the anticipation, the excitement, the costumes, the dances, the smiles. I can’t imagine Alex not dancing - it’s such a big part of who she is.

Alex takes tap, jazz, ballet and pointe. Her favourites are definitely jazz and tap but most of my photos are always of her ballets - they’re just so beautiful to photograph! Here are a few photos from dress rehearsal:

Once again, it was an incredible recital. Miss Dar sure knows how to put on a show and all of the dancers were incredible. Lucky for me - I get to photograph all of the dancers in their costumes this week and next week. I’ll see you soon girls! 

I just can’t get over the resemblance here between this little guy and his sister…especially in these two photos!

The photo of his sister was taken three years ago. Don’t they have the most incredible eyes?

I seriously could have photographed him all day…..he was just a dream.

Mom brought the coolest vintage bike for the session, so I put a little vintage spin on this photo.

O.K. just a few more and I promise I’ll stop!

Look at that face….I want to squish it!!!!
