Here’s a little sneak peak for Jordan who just graduated from High School. I’ll have the rest of the photos ready when I get back from vacation. And mom, don’t worry I have some traditional ones as well!

I’m headed out this morning to spend two weeks at the cottage. This is our home away from home and I must say our favourite place in the whole wide world! This is the view from our dock….how cool is that? One of my favourite things to do is kayak in the evening as the sun begins to set….it doesn’t get any better than this.
We don’t have internet up at the cottage but I’ll still be able to access emails through my blackberry.
I’m expecting a few babies to be born while I’m gone. Moms and Dads - if you’re reading this I can photograph your new additions on July 13 or 14 (that is if they’re born by then!).
Change the world…one act of kindness at a time.

These are my good friends’ boys Ryan and Evan. These are not just cool t-shirts to these boys - I know they practice what they preach. Ryan is headed to El Salvador in less than a week to help build homes for the poor…how cool is that?
So today….get out there everyone and do something good or something special for someone and together we can change the world….one act of kindness at a time. Jane, Ryan and Evan - thank-you for the inspiration.

Love these photos of Ryan:

and these of Evan:

How cute is this photo?!

This one was mom’s idea…..love it.

We took some traditional ones as well…..
I think it’s so important to have family photos…even when your children are older. We all know that in a blink of an eye they go from tiny tots to teens to adults.
Loved this family. Loved this session.

How gorgeous are they?!

Halle was a perfect model.

It was getting a little too cold outside for Kai, so we headed to the studio for some shots.
Love, love these….wub.
How adorable is Kai? Love his name.

Alex turns 15 today. She is such a beautiful girl inside and out and has the warmest, kindest heart.
I consider myself blessed to have such an incredible daughter. Love you sweetie.

I’m not surprised that Alyssa earned the title of Welland’s 2008 Rose Queen. She is a beautiful person inside and out.
Before her reign was over, mom wanted some professional photos taken of Alyssa.

We then headed outdoors for some more photos.

This may be a long post.
I always ask my clients - if there’s one photo you want to get from the session - what would it be? For Jennifer and David - all they wanted was a photo of their family together. Simple request don’t you think? Their twin boys are autistic, so getting that family photo was going to be a challenge…..or so I thought. I knew that they wouldn’t really want to interact with me. I also knew that it would be difficult getting eye contact. What I didn’t know was how amazing this family was….especially the parents. Jennifer and David are so calm and patient with their children and once I began photographing them, it was so apparent that there was so much LOVE in this family! The children were having so much fun - I think they forgot I was there!
I love photos of family interaction like these:

When I saw this photo on my screen for the first time - I seriously wanted to cry!
I also wanted to cry when I saw this one!
They’re such cute boys!
Here’s their older sister…how beautiful is she?

This one is so cute! They were about to “dive” off the bench.

The next three photos were not planned. It just shows the love in this family and I have so many like this. I {heart} these photos:

Jennifer and David - Thank-you so much for choosing me to photograph your beautiful family. It was certainly a privilege.
Meet beautiful Annalize who at only six weeks old was staring right at the camera and smiling for me!

Annalize is a very light sleeper, but we did manage to get these precious photos at the end of the session:

We also captured lots of photos of big sister Charlize:

I was really looking forward to meeting this couple. Stacey and I have been corresponding via email for months and it wasn’t until the engagement session that we met for the first time. We had to cancel their session twice - once due to scheduling and then due to rain. Third times a charm - right? Stacey and Todd live in Couborg and so, with a 3 hour drive ahead of them - we decided - rain or shine we were finally doing these engagement photos!
It was immediately apparent that Stacey and I have very similar tastes. I *loved* all of the clothes she brought for the sesson and after she took a peak around our house, she couldn’t believe how similar our decorating tastes were. So, it was no wonder she was drawn to my photography style!
Meet Stacey and Todd - a fun, easy going, incredible couple:

Todd doesn’t think he’s photogenic and wished me luck getting a good picture of him. Really….really…..I beg to differ.

They were both up to anything and Stacey didn’t even question me when I asked her to get into a shopping cart that I spotted!

Stacey - you are beautiful!

Stacey and Todd - I feel honoured that you’ve choosen me as your photographer. You are such an INCREDIBLE couple and I cannot wait for the wedding which I know is going to be just fabulous!
