Seriously….it doesn’t get any cuter than this!
My poor blog has been neglected! I’m going to try to post a few favourite sessions over the next few days.
Here’s a beautiful family a had the pleasure of photographing last month.
Alex had her 15th dance recital a few weeks ago. Yes, you read that correctly…15th! She started at the age of 3 and turns 18 next week. Sigh…where does the time go! This was also her last year of dance as she heads to university in the fall.
I put together this slideshow for her…combining photos from the last 15 years. It took a while gathering the photos and at times, I just had to stop because I was getting too emotional! It’s a known fact that I love making people cry…in a pull at your heart strings kind of way. I not only made Alex cry….but I managed to get my husband Darby all teary eyed as well!
If you have a few minutes to spare…take a peak. I must warn you though, it’s 8 minutes long…condensing 15 years into 8 minutes was not an easy task! Hit the arrow and give it a minute to load.
The video sure did not seem like 8 minutes….wow..she has grown up to be a beautiful young women…you both must be so proud…thanks for letting us in to view true happiness..her smile is so contagious!!!

wow, I feel like I’ve seen a girl grow into a woman right before my eyes! Such gorgeous photos too especially considering how hard it is to get good low light, action shots. I think my favourite though is the make up application shot near the window. gorgeous. thanks for sharing with us.
