I feel like I haven’t blogged a session in sooo long! I’m going to try to blog a few this week.

This good looking couple travelled from Georgetown to have their maternity photos taken.

I loved working with them and can’t wait to meet their new addition in May!

Melissa came in for some maternity photos at the beginning of December. Such a beautiful mama to be….

Melissa had a beautiful baby boy – Luke. How can I not love my job? I get to see all of these precious newborns!

Dad’s a firefighter so we took some photos of him in his gear with Luke. Luke – you’re certainly in good hands.

I’ve been loving all of these beautiful bellies and mama’s to be coming through the studio!

Big sister Addison is pretty proud of her belly too! How cute is this photo?!!!

Addison was my new BFF! She kept running to me instead of letting me take her photo…too cute.

I have to post this outtake from the studio part of the session.

I was just taking the photo of mom and dad when Addison decided she needed to be in the photo as well to show off her belly!

I’ve never seen a mom-to-be with such an incredible maternity wardrobe! I mentioned to Tina that if this was her maternity wardrobe I could only imagine what her regular wardrobe was like. This is a girl I want to go shopping with!

Is she not gorgeous!?

TIna’s belly is draped with a beaded shawl that belongs to her mom. In the photo on the right, she’s wearing a necklace that belonged to her grandmother. I love when clients bring items of sentimental value to incorporate into the photos.

When Liana asked if they could include Curtis, their dog in the maternity photos, I did not hesitate to say yes! Being a dog owner, I understand how they become such a part of your family. I have to admit though….I’ve always had a fear of big dogs! I was a little reserved around Curtis – especially offering him treats for being so good (he has big teeth!).

Curtis – thank-you for being so good!

Curtis went home after the park photos and we then headed into the studio for some more shots.

This family is very dear to me. Jody and I have been friends since highschool. He’s also good friends with my husband Darby. In fact, they grew up in diapers together and Jody was Darby’s best man at our wedding (17 years ago Saturday!). We were thrilled when Jody married Colleen. She is such a beautiful person, inside and out. Colleen is expecting baby #3. Talk about a glowing mama to be!

Their boys are just ADORABLE!

Jody and Colleen – I’ve truly enjoyed capturing your growing family over the years. Love you guys!

I met Beata two years ago at Pilates. She is just drop dead gorgeous! I owe her an apology though – during the shoot I kept telling her how much I hated her….she’s too perfect!
