I can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching families grow over the years. I met Peter and his parents several years ago and photographed him as an adorable baby as well as photographing mom and dad’s wedding. Peter was back in the studio - this time with his new baby sister Jennifer. I just wanted to eat her up!
It’s Christmas Eve…my family’s favourite day of the entire year. We have a wonderful tradition. My sister’s family and my parents always sleep over at our house Christmas Eve. It all begins with an incredible meal including calamari, pasta with clams, shrimp, seafood pasta, stuffed mushrooms and much, much more. It’s truly a meal we all look forward to all year round! We open up gifts after midnight and usually end up watching a movie that the kid’s received for Christmas. On Christmas Day we attend mass and then gather at my sister’s house for yet again another incredible meal!
To all of my clients and friends, I wish you a wonderful Christmas filled with family, tradition and love.
The studio is now closed for the holidays - reopening January 4th.
This workshop with Nico (SYTYCD Canada Winner Season 1) and Kayla (SYTYCD US Top 4 Season 5) was such an INCREDIBLE experience for the girls!!!! It was small and intimate with only about 25 dancers in each class. It was an experience they will never forget. There were a lot of screams, tears of joy, nerves and laughter. Quoting the girls “It was the best day of their lives!”.
I think I was the only mom that asked to get a picture with Nico lol! Ummm….can my smile be any bigger?!
Kayla is sooooo beautiful and the girls really enjoyed her class.
I took more video than photos. Here’s a clip from the class with Nico. Alex is the one on the right with the white long-sleeve
The coolest part was when Nico asked to have the lights turned off. He noticed how tense and self-conscious all of the girls were (can you blame them?). He wanted them to just let go and feel the music. Once they learned the routine, he broke them down into 4 groups. He watched them dance and chose 1 girl from each group….Alex was one of them! OMG! I can only imagine how she felt. He had the four of them dance the routine and then HE DANCED IT WITH THEM!!! OMG! I really don’t know who was more excited - the girls or myself!
I was absolutely thrilled to learn today that my accreditation submission in the category of Children Portrait was accepted by the Professional Photographers of Canada!
Accreditation is received by submitting ten images in a selected category to the PPOC Board of Review. The images are judged and all ten must be accepted in order to receive accreditation. This has also earned me status as LPPO (licensed professional photographer of Ontario).
I photographed Brynn just this past summer. I’m so glad Mom and Dad decided to drive back down to Niagara for a family session. Fall is such a beautiful time for photos - don’t you just love the colours!?
