When Lisa mentioned she wanted a very earthy feel to her and John’s engagement photos…I knew exactly where I wanted to take them. I call it my little piece of heaven….with rolling fields and long grasses. Add a beautiful couple and early evening sun and you have perfection.

I had the incredible pleasure of photographing Gillian and Kyle’s wedding a few weeks ago. I love this couple and their wedding was perfection. Gillian wanted more of an urban look to her photos (love that about her!). Here are a few of my favourites:

ummm….GORGEOUS!

Gillian has incredible taste…I loved absolutely everything and her dress was AMAZING!

You may recognize the father of the bride – our MP Malcolm Allen.

The girls were gorgeous. Thanks for being troopers in the chilly weather.

The guys….what can I say about the guys. This bunch was hilarious and so easy to photograph.

The reception was at the Swing Restaurant in Welland. Such an intimate and picturesque venue overlooking the golf course.

The details were incredible….loved everything!!

I loved being at Joanne’s parents house while she was getting ready. It’s very much what I’m used to – typical italian family with lots of food on the table. Joanne’s mom was so cute – she was more concerned about whether I got something to eat, than getting ready for her daughter’s wedding!

Joanne and Bryan have a cottage on Lake Erie, so it only made sense to take their engagement photos there. Not only a perfect spot…but full of meaning. We started off taking photos on their swing….so perfect.

I can’t tell you how much I was looking forward to this wedding! Stacey and Todd’s wedding was held at their friends’ home in Port Hope – a beautiful, pristine century home. They were calling for severe thundershowers all day but my sun dance must have worked because it turned out to be a gorgeous day!

Stacey looked absolutely gorgeous!!

My favourite colour is green. When when I saw all of the details – I was in heaven! Todd wore a black and white polka-dotted shirt with a green tie – loved it, loved it, loved it!!

The ceremony was just beautiful. Stacey was all smiles….love her smile.

Yes…I went on top of the roof to take this photo. Anything to get the shot!

Stacey and Todd – I can’t tell you what an honour it was to photograph your wedding. You’re both such genuine people with beautiful hearts. I know you’re going to have an incredible life together as a couple.
