After some studio shots, we headed outdoors for some family photos. I ADORE photos of families interacting…they are so natural and real.

How gorgeous are they?!

Halle was a perfect model.

It was getting a little too cold outside for Kai, so we headed to the studio for some shots.

I always ask my clients – if there’s one photo you want to get from the session – what would it be? For Jennifer and David – all they wanted was a photo of their family together. Simple request don’t you think?  Their twin boys are autistic, so getting that family photo was going to be a challenge…..or so I thought. I knew that they wouldn’t really want to interact with me. I also knew that it would be difficult getting eye contact. What I didn’t know was how amazing this family was….especially the parents.  Jennifer and David are so calm and patient with their children and once I began photographing them, it was so  apparent that there was so much LOVE in this family!  The children were having so much fun – I think they forgot I was there!

When I saw this photo on my screen for the first time – I seriously wanted to cry!

I also wanted to cry when I saw this one!
